There are a number of different ways to search for your favorite supplies at CreateForLess. Our selection of over 60,000 items can be overwhelming at first, so if you're not sure where to start, here are a few suggestions…
To view our various craft departments, from the home page or any other page on our site, simply click on one of the tabs at the top of the page, such as Sewing & Quilting or Kids Crafts.
If you are looking for a specific product or brand, the 'Search' box is a simple way to just type and go. This is located at the top of every page, to the right of the CreateForLess logo. From here you can type keywords in broad terms such as "scrapbooking" or "thread", or more specific product searches like "Sculpey clay" or "EK Paper Shapers Punch". Or if you know the CreateForLess Part # or UPC number, you can type it in and that item will come right up.
Another way to shop is to browse through products at the bottom of every page. Here you can view links to various categories, such as Product Type, Brands, Holidays & Seasons and more. You can also click on any of the More links to see a complete list of items in that category.
Once you start searching, there are several features to help make it easier to find what you're looking for....
CreateForLess offers discounted prices for buying in bulk quantities for selected items. You will notice different types of pricing descriptions displayed, depending on the item:
If the product has "Buy in Bulk & Save" prices displayed, then you have the option to buy a smaller quantity of that item, or buy in bulk and receive additional discounts. From the example above, if you add 1 or 2 items to your cart, the price will be $3.62 per item. If you purchase 2, the total price will be $3.62 x 2 = $7.24. Or if you buy 3 or more, you will receive a bulk discount price of $3.29 per item, 3 x $3.29 = $9.87. The total item price will be shown in your shopping cart.
If the product has a "This item is sold as..." explanation, then there is a minimum quantity and increment required to purchase. This generally applies to items such as cardstock, DMC floss or stickers, that we can only ship as a set, box or package, due to size and packaging issues. For example, we would be unable to ship 1 sheet of cardstock, 1 skein of floss, or 1 sticker, but we can ship the entire 25 pack of cardstock, box of 12 skeins or 3 packs of stickers. Additionally, the price displayed is for the entire set, pack or box, not the price per sheet, skein, sticker, etc. In the example above, if a cardstock pack is only sold as a pack of 25 sheets, if you add 1 pack to your cart, the price will be $6.25 per pack, and you will receive 25 sheets of cardstock. If you add 2 packs to your cart, the price will be $12.50, and you will receive 50 sheets of cardstock.
If the product has a "Price / package" displayed, then there is only a single price and no bulk discount price available for this item. For example, if the price displayed is "Price: $16.74 / package", you will receive the same price per item, whether you purchase 1, 2 or more of that product.

At CreateForLess, we strive to offer our customers the lowest price possible. In order to prevent rising labor costs from affecting our prices, we are only able to accept orders with a minimum subtotal of $10. Once you have a subtotal of $10 or more in your cart, you will be able to proceed with checkout.
To add an item to your shopping cart from the product details page, simply enter the Qty you would like to order and click the 'Add to Cart' button. Next you will see an Item Added to Cart confirmation pop up page, this confirms the item and quantity that you added to your cart, and summarizes the total # of items in your cart and the Subtotal. Then you have the option to either 'Continue Shopping' to return to the page you were on previously, or 'Checkout' to proceed to your Shopping Cart and purchase your item(s). If you return to the product detail page of an item that is in your shopping cart, an 'In Cart' button will display instead of the 'Add to Cart' button.
From any department, search results or product line page, you may also add an item to your shopping cart using the Quick View button. The Quick View feature is especially helpful for quickly adding several items to your cart, for example when shopping for multiple colors of the same item. Clicking the 'Quick View' button displays a pop up window with a short description of the product, price, and 'See Item Details' link to view further product information. From this page you may add the item to your shopping cart by entering the Qty and clicking Add to Cart. Next you will see an Item Added to Cart confirmation pop up page, this confirms the item and quantity that you added to your cart, and summarizes the total number of items in your cart and the Subtotal. Then you have the option to either 'Continue Shopping' to return to the page you were on previously, or 'Checkout' to proceed to your Shopping Cart and purchase your item(s).
To view your shopping cart, click the 'Cart' button in the upper right corner of every page. Items in your shopping cart always reflect the most recent price and availability. From your shopping cart, you can do the following:
Backorders will ship to you as soon as the product arrives at our warehouse from the manufacturer. You are not charged for the product until it ships from our warehouse. If the backordered product ships less than 30 days from the time of your order, the charge will be made per your instructions on the order and a confirmation emailed to you with shipment details and the tracking number. If the backorder ships more than 30 days from the time of your order, you will be sent an email asking you to confirm the order including the freight and handling fee. It will also ask you to confirm the original payment method for the order and give you the opportunity to change the payment method. Paypal does not allow backorders. The shipping method (Economy or Standard) is as you specified when you placed the order.
To change the settings on your cookies, if you use Internet Explorer, select Start, Control Panel, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced, Override Automatic Cookie Handling.
If you use AOL, select Settings, Preferences, Internet properties, Privacy and adjust the cookies settings.
If you use Chrome, select Tools, Options, Under the Hood, Content Settings in the Privacy section, and select Allow Local Data to be Set.
If you use Firefox, select Tools, Options, Privacy, Use Custom Settings for History, Allow Cookies from Sites.
Please note that when placing an order with a debit card, CreateForLess requests an authorization of funds from your bank for the transaction. At this time your bank places a pending charge on your account for the amount of your order. CreateForLess does not charge your account until your order ships, and at that time the actual withdrawal occurs. This may appear on your account statement as multiple charges, but CreateForLess has in fact only charged your account one time. Depending on your bank's processes, it may take a few business days for your bank to release the initial pending charge they placed on your account.
To pay with PayPal, simply select the yellow button that says "Check out with PayPal" when reviewing your order in your shopping cart. You will be directed to PayPal's website, and you can create a PayPal account if you are a new user, or log in with the email address and password associated with your existing PayPal account. Or if you would like to cancel your order, or use a different form of payment, click on the button that says "Cancel and return to CreateForLess" and you will be directed back to the Create for Less website.
We cannot place an order with PayPal over the telephone. However, if you would like to call customer service to place your order, we do accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover as forms of payment.
If you are placing your order with any prepaid credit card, please make sure that your remaining balance covers the entirety of your order. Unfortunately, we cannot process more than one credit card in an order.
You're ready to purchase your supplies, so it's time to checkout. From your shopping cart, click the 'Checkout' button which will bring you to the 'Sign In' page.
You are not required to create an account to order from CreateForLess, but if will make it more convenient the next time you shop with us. New customers and customers without an account, can checkout by clicking the 'Continue Guest Checkout' button. Creating an account will save your address information, order history and tracking. Click the 'Create An Account' button to enter your password and address information before continuing checkout. If you already have a CreateForLess account, in the Sign In section enter your email address, password and click 'Sign In'. Please note: passwords are cAsE sEnSiTive.
On the Address page, if you signed into your account, your billing and shipping information will automatically be displayed. If you did not create an account, simply enter your billing information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. Then enter your shipping information by either clicking "Ship to my billing address", or "Ship to a different address" and enter the different shipping address. Then click 'Checkout' to proceed to the Shipping page.
The phone number will only be used in the event customer service or the courier needs to contact you regarding your order.
On the Shipping page, select your desired shipping method. You can choose to ship your order via Economy, Standard, 2-Day Air or Next Day Air. Economy orders are generally shipped in 1-3 business days. Standard shipment orders are generally shipped in 1 business day. Your Estimated Arrival date, based on your shipping zip code will be displayed next to each Shipping Method. Our warehouse does not prepare any shipments on Sat and Sun. 2-Day Air and Next Day Air orders must be submitted before 11:00 am PST to be processed and shipped on the same business day. Saturday delivery is not available. For additional shipping information, visit our Shipping Information section. After selecting your shipping method, click 'Checkout' to proceed to the final step.

Please review your order information before completing your purchase. This is the last place to make any changes to your order before your order is finalized. If you would like to change your billing information, shipping information, items in the shopping cart or shipping method, click any of the 'Edit' buttons.

To submit your order, click the "Place Order" button. Please click the "Place Order" button only once, and do not use the Back button. Multiple clicks may result in multiple orders being placed. It may take up to 30 seconds to process your order. This occurs because the system is performing our credit card authorization process. Once your order is processed, you will see a confirmation page with your order number.
4. Thank You
After clicking 'Place Order' and your credit card is approved, the 'Order Detail' page will be displayed. Your order information will be summarized, including your order #, items ordered, shipping method, total amount spent, billing and shipping information. Click the 'Print Confirmation' button to print a copy for your records. Also, if you have a CreateForLess account, your 'Order Detail' information will be available in the 'My Account' section. You will also receive an order confirmation via e-mail immediately following our receipt of your order. And you will receive another e-mail notification the day that your order is shipped.
Once you click 'Place Order', your order is sent to our warehouse instantly. Because our warehouse is beginning to process your order for shipping as soon as your order is finalized, you will be unable to change your order after this time. This is a commercial activity tax (CAT) unique to Oregon where Createforless is domiciled. It is a state legislated 0.57% tax on all commercial activity in the state and is slightly differently than a sales tax. A sales tax is imposed by the state on the purchaser based on the purchase amount, while a CAT is imposed by the state on the seller based on the receipt amount. The effect is identical as purchase amount and receipt amount are one in the same. This being a tax on all commercial activity, it applies to both product and freight. Fortunately, the Oregon CAT rate is very low and is much less than sales taxes.
